"Trinity" is the new weekly comic from DC after "Countdown" ends, written by Kurt Busiek with art by Mark Bagley, starring Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. Sounds promising...hopefully DC can redeem themselves with the weekly series concept after droping the ball with "Countdown".

Is this what those new upcomming DC Direct figures are based off of ?... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

No those figures are based on Matt Wagner's mini-series "Trinity" starring Supes/Bats/WW vs. Ra's Al Ghul. Not sure if there's any connection with the new weekly other than the name and the 3 heroes...Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Interesting that Bagley's not Drawing Spidey no more,... Thats what I always,.. only ever saw. DC Must have paid him a fortune. Or,.. perhaps he was tired of their "House of Ideas".Sorry,.. just think its funny Everytime.
I sure hope He's not Drawing The Big S,.. all Frail, with Big eye's though,.. he'd look like a tweeker without a mask to hide behind.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

^^^ DC signed Bagley to a big exclusive a little bit back. Finally a artist that can meet deadlines. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

Most people associate Bagley with Marvel and Spidey in particular but he has worked for DC before, hasn't he?Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

^ Then I guess it IS a big deal that he's jumping to DC after being at Marvel for some
20+ years. (I think I might've been confusing him briefly with Tom Grumett who did the Power Company with Busiek at DC...my bad!)Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

I know I am a 'tard when it comes to tech stuff.
Bagley's done sketch that was on Newsarama, I think. I've set it as my avatar so you can see it before you surf to find it. Superman looks a lot Like Peter Parker's dad. His Wonder Woman has a hint of MJ and his Batman is pretty good.
I'm wondering how this is going to work as a weekly. Yeah, sure I get how it'll come out every Wednesday - but what story needs to be told over 52 weeks? I bought every issue of 52, and said no to Countdown in spite of - who was it? Paul Dini that was the overseer on this? - who was writing it.
Wouldn't you think that if DC is trying to copy 24, they would have noticed that the results were hit or miss? More miss...Shameless self-promotion -

Despite the fans' overall dissatisfaction with Countdown, it must be selling well enough to warrant a replacement weekly. I heard its picked up in quality, but I just couldn't care enough to try again.
I've heard other folks online saying Bagley's Supes looked like Peter or his dad, or WW looking like MJ. There aren't many comic artists with a variety of faces in their aresenal, so Bagley is in good company. John Byrne, Mike Grell, Jim Starlin and many others have been accused of this over the years, even a personal fave, Jim Aparo (see avatar at left). George Perez is one of the few living legends who draws distinct faces. And of the modern guys, well many of them swipe photo references so its easy to have different faces.
