Agreed. I work with people who have major different POV on issues but we don't engage and we all know not to do it. It's being able to complete the work and anything personal stays personal with no need to discriminate. Just like how the Japanese business men do it. Once clocked out of company time, anythings goes.

    So how is the storyline?

I decided to opt-out of the New 52 and all DC stuff at the start just for them mucking up everything. So it's no loss for me. Reading some of the things he has stated, as reported in that article, I don't see how DC could hire him and not expect controversy. I don't see how he could think the way he does. In SF there are many gay authors that he must know personally. I guess those friendships make no impact on him or he just makes friends with people who are more like him.

Still it reminds me of a story in the news about a guy whose boss discovered he was a Klansman. The guy dealt with many minorities at his workplace, never argued with them, never discriminated against them, never did anything to them and pretty much worked harmoniously with them. When the boss found out he was in the Klan he fired him outright. His co-workers had no problem with him because he always respected them at work. I always wondered what this guys take-a-way would be from that. He practices a philosophy that is abhorrent but really didn't inflict any harm on his fellow co-workers. It seems to me he was deprived of a learning experience. If he got along with everyone at work who's to say he wouldn't change his mind.

As far as I'm concerned he can think hw he wants to. It really doen't affect my like or dislike of his writing. Its allegedly a free world in some places. The intolerance of the pro gay organizations is pretty hypocritical.

Guy sounds like a nutjob, mostly because of his "leftaliban" ideas...but MIB41 raises a VERY good point about how unpopular ideas and opinions aren't given the same consideration in today's overly PC world.

A perfect example...at a local school near my hometown, a Mexican student wore a "brown pride" t-shirt to school for Cinco de Mayo, and it was allowed. Later in the year a white student wore a "white pride" t-shirt and was sent home for being racist. Made for some very interesting discussion in the local news.

My hope is that the title provides some good Superman stories and that politics from either side of the issue doesn't deny me from being able to read them.

This part about DC made me laugh. If that was the case, why do we still have the New 52?
