Superman: Unbound

THis is kind of a strange title to my favorite Supes story in the last twenty years. This is the adaptation to Geoff John's Braniac story arc, which would have made a HUGE impact as a live action and not facing Zod again. Anyway, this looks pretty darn cool. Big time looking forward to this.

Yeah, there's a nice feature on the Dark Knight 2 DVD about this video. It said the story isn't a straight adaption of the storyline, which is kinda cool to me. Won't know exactly how it ends. Probably will be the best Superman movie of the year.

Awesome, I just read that TPB at the library a few weeks ago and I liked it. I wonder what changes they might make... Bormer sounds good as Supes, as do all the other voices. And the animation looks stellar. I can’t wait for it.

Looks like they tried to hide Superman's traditional outfit as much as possible. For a story that has such a sweeping scope, the composition is claustrophobic. It's well-executed, but not very appealing. I wouldn't buy it based on the cover.

Not really sure why the DCU movies have suddenly gone to these generic covers that barely capture the source material. The Dark Knight Returns covers could have been for an random Batman project. At least you get Brainiac here, but the look of everything is way off.
