Rob Zombie to Direct 'Conan the Barbarian?!' - Cinematical

I guess it's a good day for Conan fans providing you like Rob Zombie's films.

I am a big fan of Zombie Films... & his music. However I thought Arnie was suppost to be tied to a "King Conan" Script, & was under the impression that, That Conan Movie was suppost to be the Next film. Arnie must have backed out,.. & we will never see that Movie that was set up at the end of the last Conan Film..., So with that being said, I personally am a Bit dissapointed.

That link has an Update, it says that Zombie is no Longer Attatched to the Project , because the script was already almost completed, & Now is going to Direct something with Bikers called "Tyrannosaurus Rex" ... Did I read that right ?

I'm a huge fan of Zombie,both his music and movies..but I don't know about this one.He should stick to horror films

Was always annoyed they never got round to the "Conan the King" movie...Zombie would certainly make a good go at it....if it was a blood and guts movie.
Intrigued by the T rex biker movie.....

Hmmmm....

Always HATED the Arnie Conan films. Conan is supposed to be fast, agile; and Arnie is pretty much immobile. Not sure how I'd feel about Zombie making the film. He's a horror guy. Then again, Howard and Lovecraft were good friends, and a lot of Lovecraft's stuff worked it's way into the Conan mythos...
