Anybody else besides me remember from the original Spider-Man?

I recently got the blu ray of the first and second Spider-Man

Looking over the first one, it brought back the feeling that I had when I first got the DVD that I could swear a line is missing that I saw in the theater.

Peter Parker says to Mr. Jammeson he doesn't trust anyone and he responds "I trust my barber"

I could have sworn I heard him continue on at the theater showing saying "He's been giving me the same haircut for 10 years..."

Does this ring a bell for anyone else?

Those lines aren't in the Blu-Ray version? That's weird that they wouldn't include them. Makes me wonder why.

Just checked my region 1 DVD copy, and the "same haircut for 10 years" line isn't on that.

Can't recall if it was in the theatrical print I saw back in 2002.

The line is on the IMDB "Memorable Quotes" page for Spider-Man.

Peter Parker: You don't trust anyone, that's your problem.
            J. Jonah Jameson: I trust my barber.

It's not the "I trust my barber" line which is there in all versions but the" same haircut for 10 years" line I seem to remember.

There's a lot of stuff that seems to be cut and added here and there. I knew I wasn't alone when it came to thinking of this. Maybe one day they'll give us a real copy with everything on it.

This reminds me of another story. Anyone remember that stinky Ben Affleck Daredevil movie? I figured out why it sucked about a year ago. I bought a copy with like thirty some minutes of deleted scenes cut out and put back into the DVD the Daredevil movie. In this form the Daredevil movie is actually not that bad. Why do directors do this? I honestly believe this is why Daredevil took a spin in the toilet and down the drain.
As for Spider-man the original movie; I can't see why they clip little lines like that. What's the point of saving a whole 10,5 seconds of a clip?

It's usually the studio demanding edits, not the directors or producers.

I don't quite recall Jameson's line beyond "I trust my barber". But I loved Simmon's as the character.

I'm a big fan of the DD director's cut--IMO, had this version been released theatrically, the film would have done better business & been more favorably reviewed.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

                        Unlikely, IMO.
the Affleck DD movie is a vile aberration in any form.
