    The Grant Morrison/Alan Moore feud---really?

I just heard about it this week.

For my money, I think Alan Moore should just shut up and let other writers continue to write, from what I've read of Morrison(Batman, Flex Mentallo) I think he's awesome!

Fan of both their works. But Moore just seems to enjoy being as cranky as possible

Yeah, after reading it, I have to agree with Morrison. I don't like all of his stuff (I think he's really wrecked Batman, for instance) but Moore seems to have absolutely no joy left for comics. He should just completely leave them behind and move on.

Good pt. I don't love 100% of what Morrison does , but I can always tell he loves comics.

I blame Moore's beard. I think it tells him to do this weird stuff.

I love them both, especially Moore, but he's getting to be like those two old guys on the Muppet Show! If you hate comics, just walk, disappear. He seems to spend an awful lot of time in the public eye talking about how much he hates to be in the public eye, doesn't he? The originality factor is funny, because most of Moore's stuff is original takes on things, more than startlingly original ideas in themselves. I heard him described as an amazing "inker" compared to being an amazing "artist". (In writer terms, I mean.) As a writer, though, I worship at both of their shrines.

Why is Moore even relevant anymore? An man, Morrison should be cast as Professor X.

A lot of Moore's vitriol towards the industry is frankly unwarranted.
But regarding some of his rants I've read over the years, he does frequently have a valid point.
