^ I never really got into the whole Valiant thing...a kid I used to know did though and sold his entire Silver Age Fantastic Four run for Valiant books. Smart move
Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!
^^^ I liked the BloodShot Valiant book,.. it was very entertaining IMO,.. couldn't really get into anything else though, other than the Valiant/Image CheckMate Cross Over..., liked the Book where RipClaw & Turok were Brothers the Most. Bart Sears run on Turok was not that bad, liked that too.
Well,.. I picked Up Turok today, it's gotta a big sticker on it saying it is for mature audiences only, & has no rating,.. might be alittle more hard core like Spawn was,... I just hope I don't have to put up with any cartoon Sex.
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
Ok, I watched it. I do not know if any of the elements of the story relate to the Key Comicbooks, other than the look of the character, because I personally have not read any of the Key comics.
It says on the DVD , Warning } Contains graphic Violence and other material not Suitable for children. I well I don't think it is. There is no Sex, nore explicit language. However there is plenty of Blood, Be-heading, canibalizim, death, people ripping other people in half, & even Dino's eating people. The Cartoon is seriously not for children.
But,.. As an Adult, man was this Fantastic Programing ! The Story is very Dark, well put together & has non-stop Action. It's 73mins, & about 5 minutes into the movie it takes off with a bang, & doesn't let up until the credits role. Turok is a complete & total Bad Arse, & I personally loved the animation .
There is also a special feature that shows an indepth look into the Turok Property. I have not gotten into that yet. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase, however given the small run of recent Marvel Cartoons that came out, I would be certain in a few months time , one would be able to pic this movie up at Best Buy or something for 6.99, as opossed to the 14.99 + tax I paid for it.
I just watched this again this evening after not having seen it for a couple years, and I'd forgotten how good it was. My question is, for those of you that read the old Gold Key Turok book, how good is it? I've only read a couple issues, and after seeing this movie again am thinking about picking up one of the Dark Horse archives. Any info and opinions would be appreciated!
