Greatest Superman villain you've probably never heard of...

Superman is a great character, but let's face it, his rogues gallery is kinda weak compared to Batman, Spider-Man or the X-Men.
Supes is just such a badass it's hard to come up with someone his equal so we get Lex Luthor over and over, Zod (same powers) Bizarro (same powers), or Kryptonite (Metallo).

Anyway, the Ruby-Spears Superman cartoon from the 80's introduced an awesome new villain they should bring back. His name is BONECHILL, aka Chilton Bone. He's an occultist who discovers an ancient amulet that transforms him into a terrifying skull faced being with the ability to physically manifest and control any and all creatures and monsters of legend, literature, and even film and television! How cool is that?

This guy can send zombies, the Kraken, Bigfoot, and Dracula after Supes all at once, and since his powers are magic-based Supes is completely vulnerable to them.

Yeah, I liked him! And Wolfman created Lord Satanus in the comics too, so there probably is a connection there.

I think becuase of the bryne reboot all the classic villians weren't avialable to the RS series so they have villians who are stand ins for a classic villian, Cybron instead of braniac and Moprpheas is a stand in for Parasite, the show was pretty good overall but suffered from losing the familiarity of the pre crisis super foes who had become very widley know via superfriends
