Has anyone ever bought or read comic collections burned to DVD scans? Is it an enjoyable way to read comics?

I have over 100 gig of comics on a hard drive as well as converting them to DVD. I just got a tablet and put 16 gig on a sdcard to read on the tablet. I enjoy reading them this way and donot damage my originals. Next I'm going to get a hand scanner to add to my collection. -
I'm a big fan as well. Have close to 250 gb at this pt. I have a home NAS server (basically a hard drive I plug into my home network) and I can use my iPad to read them directly off there or transfer them to the iPad so I can read them when I'm traveling.
Used to do this with my laptop and it was pretty good, but with a tablet, it's really great. Beats having to dig through my long boxes (which I still have several of)Comment
