Comic Book Mini Series that deserve a collected format...

...That haven't gotten one yet. Be it Hardcover (My preference) or Trade Paperback. Here's one that I would love to see in a Hardcover format...The Green Arrow Mini Series from 1983. Trevor Von Eeden/Dick Giordano Art and Inks:

Hell, they should gather all of the Green Arrow Worlds Finest stuff also. Don't know why DC hasn't done it yet.
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
    The beauty that surrounds them
    Isn't it a pity".

    - "Isn't It A Pity"

I'd like to see a trade for "The Untold Legend of The Batman" as well as "The World of Krypton"...I know they're only 3 issues each though

I'd buy the GA stuff as wellas the world of krypton and untold legend of batman

Also the GL Corps and PhAntom Zone minis.

Maybe World of Krypton, Smallville and Metropolis from the Byrne era.

      Don Newton's Shazam stories.

The rest of the JLA-JSA team-ups.

      Best of Lex Luthor stories.

Hardbacks from Marvel and DC reprinting their Christmas specials dating back to the tabloids I the 70s.

The Secret origins series from the 1980s.

        The Worlds Finest backup stories?

There is so much that DC can do with some of the backup stories for a whole bunch of characters. Green Lantern backup stories from Flash in the 70's would be great. That Mike Grell art is fantastic. Also wouldn't mind seeing some of the DC Presents stuff reprinted in Hardcover of Paperback. How about all of the DC Preview books from the early 80's. Most of the 16 pagers that were in the middle of the books were original stories and art that I haven't seen reprinted yet. If DC would do this I think it would keep a lot of older collectors still interested in comics. Anything that may make DC books fun again would be better then the dreg they are putting out now.

All of that sounds good. How about The Sword of the Atom and the Hamilton/Pozner Aquaman mini-series as well. What about Super Powers? DC Challenge?

I was going to say Super Powers...but I thought that it had to have been reprinted already...I mean it is Kirby. I'm stunned to see that it hasn't been reprinted yet. Has the Garcia Lopez Deadman Mini been reprinted yet?

Wow. hadn't thought of these 2 in years. Had 'em both and loved em . Since they are relatively short, maybe a single trade containing both of them?

Yeah they really need to finish this off

There was a "Superman vs. Lex Luthor" TPB several years ago....

Those Grell GL backups were reprinted recently in a Showcase edition iin b/w. They might make it to an archive in about 2018, lol.
The Sword of the Atom minis were collected in the last 5 years, too.

I knew I had re-read that GL Corps mini recently. I guess it came out aroun d the time, of Blackest Night.

There's been 1 DC Comics Presents Showcase edition. I think it went through No. 26.

Most of Newton's Captaon Marvel was in WF.

Super Powers either has just recently been reprinted or is coming up soon.

Agreed! I went looking for a trade of "Untold Legend" a while back, and was surprised to find there wasn't one.
Even though I have the original issues, a collected volume would be still cool.

There's just the old b&w Tor books paperback reprint.

Did Bob Layton's two Hercules series ever get reprinted?

Yes, but it was a while ago. I think there was even a third Layton Herc mini on maybe a graphic novel.

Untold Legend got reprinted in the late 80s in smaller format in a book and tape set, with a full cast. Like the old Power Records. I think those same smaller comics were given away in some promotion as well. But it's a shame it hasn't been given a proper collection.

I think Super Powers may have been reprinted (or WILL be reprinted) in a Kirby Omnibus volume, but to my knowledge, they haven't been reprinted on their own.

I wonder if Tales of the New Teen Titans mini-series was ever reprinted? I'm talking about the 4-issue series that covered the origin of the the new characters (Cyborg, Raven, etc.).

That Kirby Omnibus Vol. 2 which reprints Super Powers is scheduled to come out in April, according to Amazon.

                              http://www.amazon.com/The-Jack-Kirby...=Kirby+omnibus

It's not a mini but I noticed Micheline/Layton's Iron Man is being collected in the omnibus format, too. I only read the Dr Doom issue back in the day so I'm looking forward to it.

Also noticed Crisis on multiple Earths vol 6 with the JLA-JSA team-ups is due in March.

Books featuring Gil Kane and GarciaLopez' Superman work are also forthcoming.
