    2015 avengers 2 v star wars 7

What a epic year 2015 will be, just wondering how Disney are going to space these two films out.

probably so they don't overlap and give Disney the most box office take for the year. They probably have a Pixar one lined up for that year, too.

Wasn't the Justice League movie announced for 2015, as well?

Star Wars movies are traditionally released in May (a tradition I'm hoping they'll continue), so I'm guessing Disney will probably schedule the release of Avengers 2 for later in the summer.

Talk about owning a Summer! They could release one in May and have the next one ready for July and practically rule the entire season at the top spot. Wow. Scary to think of the tally for those films combined.

From what I understand from the articles all over the Internet. Since Disney owns the Star Wars Franchise now. We are most likely getting a whole new story line. I'm talking about characters, powers, heroes, villains and a new back story with no relation to any of the other Star Wars films.
It makes me wonder, if Disney plans to do this then why use the name "Star Wars"? Well, that's simple....if Disney releases a new movie and calls it something else nobody will come and see it. Slap the word "Star Wars" on it and you have an instant group of fanboys.
Disney either needs to connect this new Star Wars film to the last one if they are going to use the name or else don't bother. I have read all of the books after the last Star Wars movie and I would love to see all of what went on appear in a movie but Disney (the most evil empire in the world) is just looking for a fast buck and a quick way to **** me. Just me two cents.

If that were really their plan, I don't think they would call it Episode VII, which definitely implies a continuation of the original saga.

What's been said/ written/ reported is the next film will be original material, so it will not adapt various novels, comics or other licensed materials Lucas Film has sanctioned over the years. While Lucas is stepping away, his story ideas and/or treatments for a third trilogy were part of the deal and numerous articles have reported episode VII would include Luke, Leia and Han and that there are levels of interest by the original actors in reprising their roles.

No doubt new characters will be developed to keep the money train moving and at some point Disney could adapt other material or develop entirely new stories set in the Star Wars setting/universe, but all indications are that Disney's initial efforts with the franchise will be a follow up to the original three films.
