Arnold Schwarzenegger to reprise Conan in "Conan the King"

I think it would be okay. Especially with all the court stuff and the fact he's married, it could really be big with Game of Thrones fans. They should weave "The Phoenix on the Sword" together with "The Scarlet Citadel" and make it a three-hour epic.

Arnold has earned the right to do any role he wants. I think he would be bad *** if he returned as King Conan.

I guess I'm in the minority here but I thought the new one sucked I mean it was worth watching once but that's about it for me..It looked like a made for tv movie like those sci-fi or hallmark channel ones

Looks like part of the divorce is getting her a couple of roles in film. Here she'll play a Cimmerian vampire witch thing. Never understood that marriage. I think they were trying to breed the first bullet-proof Kennedy.

I'm looking forward to this but I hope Conan has picked up some chest armor over the years. Last photo I saw of Arnie without a shirt, his man boobs were sagging a good bit. I know I'm one to talk, but I don't run around without a shirt.

Could be fantastic, or could be embarrassing. I don't see a middle ground, here. Hopefully it will be an adaption of Howard's "Hour of the Dragon."

For years I've been hoping for a third and final Conan movie with Schwarzenegger, playing the older Conan as king of Aquilonia.
A suitably grim and savage adventure to complete the trilogy in epic style.

However the quote from the producer once again propounds the error that Conan worshipped the Gods of Nordheim. He didn't. As a Cimmerian, he hailed to Crom.

So what's the story of THE LEGEND OF CONAN? Producer Fredrik Malmberg explains it quite simply as such: "The original ended with Arnold on the throne as a seasoned warrior, and this is the take of the film we will make. It’s that Nordic Viking mythic guy who has played the role of king, warrior, soldier and mercenary, and who has bedded more women than anyone, nearing the last cycle of his life. He knows he’ll be going to Valhalla, and wants to go out with a good battle.”

Hopefully it'll be a cool film, anyway.

The Arnold version of Conan isn't really accurate in regards to the essence of REH's original character, but it's still better than the remake's interpretation in many ways.
