I'd have to say someone like the Spectre, Dr. Fate, Dr. Strange or the Phantom Stranger. THe mystical guys really don't have any boundries as far as abilities.

      >Who is the most powerful superhero

Judge Dredd. He has one power: win.

Wouldn't matter; Dredd would still win. That's what he does.

I think the term "super-hero" is kind of generic.
I think that both Batman and The Hulk are super-heroes - but if you want to get semantical about it - Batman is a vigilante. His gimmick is that he is The World's Greatest Detective, like Sherlock Holmes; and, who also employs nifty gadgets like James Bond. As Bruce Wayne, he appears just as suave and Bond. Apparently, he is an escape artist as well, I remember reading Batman and Detective in the '80's and that was one of the aspects they were trying to play up, that with all the deathtraps he faces he has to be an escape artist.

The Hulk I would see more as an anti-hero. I'm not really sure what the definition of that term would be - but, to me he is heroic, just not in the traditional cops and robbers way.

I've seen more and more recently that homo-sapien and homo-superior and metahuman terms have been used in comics to define heroes...

Bond is considered a superhero by some people...
Cap falls into this area due to being created by science to the extreme limits+ of human condition (in the case of cap) and Wonder Woman was created by the gods...much as Thor being one of the gods or Mr Miracle etc...godly powers appear superhuman to the norm.
              IMO Very well said !
