What a thrill-My 7 year old watched Superman the movie for first time.

We watched half last night and the rest today. He got a little upset at the scene of everyone on Krypton dying, but enjoyed it all. Also funny, he had his beater Mego Superman out this morning and my 9 year old daughter says to me "They should make a Mego Superman without his red trunks like he is now"
    It's all good!

Awesome....my 6 year old boys just watched Supe 3 & 4 last weekend. Pretty cool, like watching it yourself for the first time all over again.

That is awesome. Both my kids like the Reeve movies and ask to watch them, even when I'm otherwise occupied. I took my old DVD set over to my mother-in-laws for the kids to watch when they stay there, and my daughter wears them out. My son has seen Superman IV more times than I have.

Great story. It's hard to beat Reeves in the role. He is likely to always be the definitive Superman as he should. Once a classic, always a classic.
