LA Time reports JLA movie in works for 2015

I'm hopeful but will believe it when I see it. Article says an unnamed source inside Warners said the lawsuit between Warners and Superman's creators had slowed the development of the JLA movie because of the implications of if Siegle and Shuster's estates won. With Warner's winning the case, it's allegedly full-steam ahead.

Warner can't even make a Credible JLA Singles Movie Outside of, I guess Nolan's Batman, if you like such a Thing ...., and Now Batman doesn't Even Have a Face Anymore, Because Batman is in RE-vamp Mode ...., Once again.

So Many People had a Problem with Green Lantern's Direction, and the Lead...., where's that Character even going ?

I dunno What to Even write about the Man of Steel.
I like the Look of Superman ....., Don't care Much for the Suit ...., and all the Pics, and Trailers of this...., make me Not very Excited at all...., but I am trying to be open minded.

And Now ..., Warner Bro's and DC Comics are gonna Throw This Crap, with New Characters in a Movie and Expect it to be Great ? When they Can't Even Pull Off 1 Movie Before this 1st ? Are only Idiots incharge of DC Characters Now ? How the **** do they Expect to Achieve Marvel Status with the Avengers, .... when They Don't even have 1 ****ing Card Right ?

The Avengers was 4 Movies, and 4 Years in the Making.

If DC Were Smart, which they Haven't been Since Blackest Night, and Warner has never been with Any JLA Character ...., They Would get a Worlds Finest Movie out there 1st ..., with Batman & Superman .... Introduce Wonder Woman in the Movie ( use the Movie as Her Origin Story) ...., Then you Have Trinity . A Really Smart Company, Would Use some of the Aspects of Flash Point, Then you could also Get Aquaman in there with Camero's ....., and Maybe a Green Lantern Sighting at the End.

You don't need to re-tell Batman and Superman . Thats a Waste of time.
If this Crap was in place ...., a JLA Movie would then really work, Not feel rushed, and Newbie's wuld know *** Was Going on.

If Warner Bros. uses the JLA movie as a fresh start for their DC films, it's got a shot. Jettison all the Nolanverse stuff, use the Big 7 (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter) and avoid the grim/gritty attitudes from the New 52 comics. Keep it classic, old school versions that 9/10 folks will automatically recognize. They should have fun with their properties like Marvel's doing with their films.

Because of the Super Friends and the JLA cartoons and heck in the Filmation cartoons of the 1960s plus the live action Wonder Woman and Flash TV show, I don't think there will be a issue with introducing FLash, Wonder Woman and Aquaman in a JLA movie. Those characters are more recognizable to the general public than say Iron Man or Thor were prior to their films.

I also don't believe every super hero movie has to be an origin. Other than the origin blurb that ran in most comics in the 70s, my introduction to a majority of the characters didn't contain the origin. I think people are smart enough to get pretty quickly that FLash is really fast, Wonder Woman's power set is basically the same as Superman's but she can't see through wall but does have a cool lasso that forces people to tell the truth and that Aquaman breaths in or out of the water, is strong and command marine life.

Warner's track record does suck. No doubt, Green Lantern was an uneven mishmash, but it doesn't doom a JLA movie to be one. They just have to get a good script and a director that understands the appeal of super heroes. That's what Marvel has done.

The movie will do well on opening weekend. Anyone who has ever remotely cared about super heroes will eventually watch the first live action film that stars Superman and Batman.

Warner's doesn't need to overthink it. Just get a good script, get competent actors and a director that understands and it will work. Avengers has proven that.

If I were writing the script, I'd use the notoriety of Superman and Batman as a way of pulling all the characters together by having them manipulated or possessed by an antagonist (probably Darksied) into doing destructive acts that will pave the way for an invasion. GL, Flash, Wonder Woman and Aquaman would confront them individually and be defeated. The implications of The Earth falling to Darksied or whomever would draw out Martian Manhunter who has been on Earth observing. He convinces the other four heroes to join with him to defeat Superman and Batman.

The JL is formed. They defeat Supes and Bats through planning and teamwork and get them back to their right minds. Superman and Batman both get heroic moments to shine at the climax While the Big 7 are congratulating themselves a Boom Tube opens up and hordes of Parademons zoom through just preceding Darksied to set up the sequel.


Making Superman and Batman evil for the first 3/4 of the film would be fun for any screenwriter to write and would work because everyone already knows the gist of those characters. It gives an opportunity to introduce the new characters and a reason for the team to form.

A plot as simple and similar to that would work. It would give a lot of room for character moments and action and would set up an even more titanic sequel.

But there is No Way, That Warner and DC Are gonna let lesser Known Characters Such as Flash and WW Get in a Movie, without some sorta Origin ...., Hell , they are Getting ready to Re-Tell Batman's again, and Wasted Over half a GL Movie doing the Same. They Feel like, they have to, with Super Hero Movies.

... I also Doubt, They would even remotely consider Villianizing Superman and or Batman, even if Mind Controled for a Launch.

I personally think they should just scrap the who justice league idea and go Teen Titans instead. that way they dont have to start fresh. Have Joseph Gordon Levitt play Nightwing looking to build a team. They can set up Conner at the end of Man of Steel by showing a scene where Supermans DNA is stolen after credits. I feel like this would turn out sooooooo much better than a justice league movie....Just a thought

That bit right there would keep me from going. Cyborg is not part of the original 7, and when NuDCU implodes he will be returned to the titans.

The Avengers and X-Men films didn't use the original lineups from the comics and it didn't hurt their bottom lines, so it is reasonable to think Warners might go with a different character set than the Original 7 JLAers. But who knows?

What gets me is all the in-the-box thinking from the reporters/critics/commentators writing about the JL movie. They make it out like Warner's has to follow Marvel's lead in lockstep or the movie will be a flop. I just don't buy that.

The Avengers worked because it was a good movie, not because the previous films set it up. I'm not saying that didn't help, but if the Avengers movie had of been poorly made, it would have failed. The successes and relative successes of the IronMan, Thor, Captain America and Hulk films would not have saved a poorly made Avengers film.

To me, spinning characters out of a JLA film is far more prudent and cost effective than making five movies and then seeing if it's worth making a JLA film. The X-Men and Avengers movies have proven super hero team films do well if the film is executed well. The first X-Men film wasn't preceded by Cyclops, Jean Grey, Wolverine and Rogue origin movies, and it did fine at the box office. Black Widow, Hawkeye and for that matter Nick Fury and Shield haven't had origin movies, either. All, however, were explained well enough for viewers to get them and like the characters to various degrees.

Who knows which of the JLA characters will translate better to the big screen? Honestly for a solo movie, I think Aquaman would hold more promise than Flash or Wonder Woman. It would also be much more difficult and costly to film. He would also be one of the most difficult of the characters to work into a team film unless the action is some how centered on him.

With Shows Like Comicbook Men ...., Family Guy and Big Bang Theroy, Aquaman is Still the Blunt of Everyones Comicbook Jokes. I don't think people would take him serious. .... They majority don't in this Dorkdum.
