I'm guessing Merlyn let Slade out so Ollie and Thea could confront him for a final showdown to prepare them. Kind of a cool twist. Merlyn has become such an intriguing character, but that's mostly from Barrowman's portrayal. I just caught up tonight on the last three eps. The Brick and uprising story was pretty good, but how do they totally eff up the Wildcat character like this? Fist, he's miscast, then hardly used and then gets his whooped up on to the point of near death(they never resolved this). And what the hell kind of gear was that? Total miss IMO.
This past weeks episode was all about redemption and trust. I like the fact that everyone knows everyones secrets and identities. Maybe there's a chance Slade can find some sort of balance and become a semi-regular anti hero. I'd kind of like to see him and Merlyn go at it. Lots of possibilities and we still haven't seen Atom yet. This show isn;t quite as good as Flash but it's not far either.

Matt Ward has been cast as the deadly mercenary Komodo:

“He’s the villain-of-the-week for the second week of the show, but you’ll see that Team Arrow’s pursuit of him is part and parcel of a season-long storyline,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim reveals. “You’re going to know what happens to Komodo at the end of the episode, but it will be a little bit tied in better with the season-long mythology than villain-of-the-week episodes have done in the past.”
Komodo was actually just introduced into the canon of the DCU last April. The character was introduced as a young man born with nothing who went on to work for Oliver Queen’s father before eventually turning toward greed and becoming a mercenary with archer skills that rival Oliver Queens.Leave a comment:
