It will never catch Avatar...and Japan has never been huge fans of American comic book superhero movies.

It has been making nice change in Japan...$28 million so far...but nothing out of this world.

Hell, Mexico has bigger American superhero box office totals than Japan (The Avengers made $61 million in Mexico)...Mexicans LOVE their American comic book superheroes, lol.

Check out Iron Man for example...it only made $8 million in Japan...while in Mexico, it made $19 million...
