At least the red is RED and not that god-awful, muddy maroon from Returns. I hate that all the toys from that movie have that desaturated brownish color.

Hopefully when Hot Toys makes this figure, they overlook that "feature". Jeez almighty a long line of jokes are going to come hard and heavy. It just begs the question. Why couldn't they just respect the source material and do it the way the average person expects it to be?

Maybe we'll luck out and the film will be good. Cavil, Nolan, Goyer and Nyder described the movie as realistic rather than dark, which is a good sign to me.

If you want to garner a bit of hope for Man of Steel despite Warner's missteps with DC character seek out the latest issue of empire and check out the article. I'm definitely intrigued after reading it and more hopeful that the film will be decent.

Also, Amy Adams ( the latest Lois) was on Leno Thursday night and spoke enthusiastically about the film and superman as a character. she sang a few bars from Can You Read My Mind and sounded pretty good.

You know if Paul Newman had of been 15 years younger at the time, I could see him, though he didn't have the right stature. If you've ever seen the "The Wild One," Brando could have pulled off the role in the early 50s, which made him a better choice than I originally thought for Jor-El.
