    Spider-Man 67 Music

This guy went through the old show and removed the dialog and sound effects to isolate the music. Pretty groovy!

#16 makes me happy. Always has. I used to hum that to myself constantly. The "Tune in next week" music.

These are great. Shows how fantastic the music was on that show. The music and the voice actors overcame a very limited budget to make this a timeless classic.

I still hear that music in my head when I read a Silver Age Spidey comic.

        Really cool find.
Tracks 20 and 31 are bringing back great memories... but so much of that music is great!

You can play multiple clips at once and create your own Spiderman '67 remix.

              Neat!

Here's kinda the opposite; new music for the old shows:

                Very cool
If I had only spent a tenth of the time studying Physics that I spent learning Star Wars and Baseball trivia, I would have won the Nobel Prize.

Great music! I still don't know why it hasn't been released on either CD or as Digital Files by MARVEL or DISNEY!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Thanks for posting, this brought back a lot of fond memories & I think the music is great.

(Makes me wonder what Batman'66 would have been like with Neal Hefti's original jazz scores instead of Nelson Riddle's incidental music...)

Great stuff! But missing my favorite event score in the series. Check it out at time marker 2:05. Plus I love the way he swings down the flag pole and lands feet first. Very cool for the 60's.

Back in 2002 when SPIDER-MAN was first hitting theaters. I was really hoping that the movies would find a way of incorporating some of the music from the series into the film, but alas and alack, all we got were weird parodies of the main theme song. Elfman's score for SPIDER-MAN was good, but it didn't (and doesn't) have anything on the music from the '67 show. There is a band called The Blue Hawaiians that, if asked, could probably have done some killer cover versions of the '67 incidental music...

Here's some Spider-man TV music links from YouTube. The first one is my fave, b/c it's also featured on the Peter Pan GIJoe Record: Rescue From Adventure Team Headquarters. (first 35 seconds):

"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
