Who would YOU like to see take on THE BATMAN next...

OK. With Nolan's DARK KNIGHT trilogy now finished, I'm sure that Warner Bros. is already thinking about who they can get to tackle the franchise next and bring a new and fresh feel to The Batman. While I've enjoyed Nolan's grittier, more realistic take on the Caped Crusader, I'd really like to see Warner Bros. and DC maybe go down a different path with the next "reboot" and give us the classic, dark, criminal-dreading, white eyes shining from the darkness BATMAN. With that in mind, here are a few of the folks that I would love to see helm Batman's next big screen incarnation...

Danny Boyle
Ridley Scott
David Fincher
Darren Aronofsky

I think they could all give us a kick-arse BATMAN minus all the armor and military trapping. Heck, i wouldn't even mind seeing a BATMAN film set back in the forties!!!

Guillermo del Toro and using some of the more monsterous villains like CLayface or Croc.

I Honestly don't care who directs it, what would be nice to see is the next Batman, be an
Elseworld type project.....

I want:
Batman Gotham by gaslight
Batman 1939 or 40 throwback Batman with a very noir look
Batman the Killing Joke: 80's style Batman no armor.......
