      Zack Snyder directed 300. Depending on how faithful to the original graphic novel folks think that adhered to, should probably determine how close to the original Watchmen comics he should be.

          no doubt many people were thinking the same........it's a shame Moores work is so poorly represented in the movie genre. If he was a writer of novels (apart from Voice of the fire, some short stories and the upcoming Jerusalem), he would get far more praise from the masses but as he is seen primarily (if at all) as a comic book writer the films associated with his work only reflects badly on him if it's the only exposure many people have with his work.
