Hopefully this will be one of the better, more faithful comic book adaptations. At least they shouldn;t have to "dumb it down*" for the masses, as the masses probably aren't familiar with Watchmen anyway.
(* you know...stuff likes organic webshooters and nipples on batsuits)
Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!
If it gets Alan Moore's approval (past record makes that difficult)then it should be good...looks like Dave Gibbons is happy . It's a pity Gillium didn't do it when he had the chance , but then with his luck he'd proberly had filmed the greatest, most faithful comic book adaptation ever known that would have delighted fans, critics and the masses only to find he's lost the only print...
ENGLISH AND DAMN PROUD OF IT British by birth....English by the grace of God. Yes Jamie...it is big isn't it....
I'm really looking forward to this movie...but then I really looked forward to V for vendetta, but i thought that was bad, and I really tried to like it.
I shall hold my breath.
Terry Gilliam that would have been interesting.
"I've just bought a house. It's got a Buck Rogers Toilet. One yank, all gone!"
odds not looking good though:
Return of the swamp thing (which borrowed from Moores work on the book)...poor
From hell...poor
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen...poor
V for Vendetta....poor (although the costume and V were well done)
Constantine...poor
lets hope this one breaks the mold and proves to be a faithful adaptation....I await with baited breath...
