This is the only series were I would buy the set as a whole right away. One giant box set. I might have with Transformers but they did the Matrix box set after I had all the seasons so I couldn't.

I suspect that it's Warner more than Nolan, if at all, that doesn't want a DVD release to compete with the current movie. I'll be happy if there is a DVD but won't be surprised if it doesn't happen.

There are 2 things that are certain with non dvd releases...The Beatles Let It Be will never be released on DVD
actually, I saw Ringo on a talk show recently and he said that Let it Be still needs to get released on disc AND it will get released. it was right when Yellow Submarine got the bluray release

            Absolutely!
Not a big fan of the new movies. Haven't seen the new one yet though...and won't until DVD, but have serious doubts I will dig it a whole lot.

I have never liked the whole rubber S&M suit, Cookie Monster voiced Batman.

We will definitely see toys and other Batman 66 gear, that's for sure. The DVD's aren't sure yet last time I heard

I don't think some of these companies would jump on the liscense if the dvd's weren't in the works. Especially Mattel.
