If I was Fox I'd just let it revert back. Dare Devil isn't a character that's going to generate Spider-Man-type money and rushing a production just to keep a the property is wasting money.
Chronicle is a good film with excellent effects. Makes me optimistic about an FF movie.

FOX doesn't know how to make an FF film. If they had 1/2 a brain and allowed Bryan Singer to get FF and X-Men to crossover the FF films might pick up in quality.Leave a comment:

i am glad disney has the movie rights to the avengers characters and actually glad they don't have rights to many of the other players. why? because i think the stories are more believable when not every hero exists. think about the avengers movie - if spidey is introduced as existing then wouldn't it be stupid for him to not get involved. either you throw them all in the fight or you just say "wow, soider-man just did nothing!?"
i like that the movie franchises have separate universes
keep DD where he is. of course if they rush a film it could be bad. (note. i loved the first DD film)Leave a comment:

Also, FF gets a director
Fox has finally made it official: Chronicle director Josh Trank will helm the reboot of its Fantastic Four franchise. According to Deadline, production will begin sometime following Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class, which goes in front of the cameras in January.
He’s expected to put the film ahead of his other projects: Sony’s Venom spinoff and Shadow of the Colossus adaptation, and Warner Bros.’ The Red Star adaptation.
Fox, which released Fantastic Four in 2005 and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2008, holds the movie rights to the Marvel property (as well as X-Men and Daredevil) in perpetuity — as long as the studio keeps making the films within a contractually prescribed time frame.Last edited by samurainoir; Jul 12, '12, 12:19 PM.Leave a comment:

Rights revert to Marvel/Disney if Fox's next Daredevil film goes off the rails
Director David Slade has dropped out of Fox’s long-discussed Daredevil reboot, leaving the studio scrambling to get the project into production by the fall or risk the rights reverting to Marvel. Deadline cites a scheduling conflict with Slade’s commitment to helm NBC’s Hannibal pilot.
Best known for his adaptations of 30 Days of Night and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Slade signed on in March 2011 to helm the film, which is based on “Born Again,” the seminal 1986 Marvel comics storyline by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli.Last edited by samurainoir; Jul 12, '12, 12:01 PM.Tags: None
