>the consensus seems to be don't recycle any villains...
I'd love to see a new bad guy for the films. Not that it'll happen; too much of a risk, and the fans'll scream "WHERE'S ELECTRO DAMMIT!!!!" or somesuch. Barring that, I'd love to see them go WAY out on a limb. "Hey, Spidey vs the Riddler!" I get tired of the same handful of baddies being in everything, over and over.... except each time around they tie 'em in tighter to each other. (Which I don't like, because it makes the setting small. Like how in the 90's EVERYTHING happened 'cos of the KIngpin, and now we're getting that trope again, but with Kingpin scrateched out and Osbourne pencilled in.)
>is that the rocket racer?
You don't recognize Spidey's second greatest foe?:

I think it all really depends on how many films they plan on doing. The Gwen Stacey story is important and it has to be done by the Green Goblin. Maybe if it is a trilogy, that will be the last one. Nothing like kicking a non-Spidey fan in the crotch at the end of the series to watch the Green Goblin kill Gwen Stacey/ Spider-man kills Green Goblin....end of story.

I think Kraven would've been a lot more fun had they tied him in with The Lizard, but that time is past, so I guess he'd have to come to town to hunt down Spidey himself....
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.
What I always love is when the beginning of a movie is the end of one that never was (like the Indy movies). Next one I'd like to see him putting away a lesser villian like the shocker for 10 minutes before they start the movie.

DK kind of did that with the Scarecrow, although that was tying up a loose end from the previous film. Still nice to see.
But yes I'd like to see Spidey handle a lesser baddie on the side. It's the James Bond treatment!

That's What I've been saying for the longest all Spidey movies should devote the first 10 minutes to an unrelated story with one of his villains who can't carry a whole movie.....that would satisfy all the Geeks......lol
