Christopher Nolan's Batman Films Trilogy

I re-watched Begins for the first time in a long time last night. From what I've seen of DKR, it "feels" more like Begins in many aspects, as Nolan is seemingly bringing things full circle.
One thing I had forgotten: Gordon's wife is shown bathing their son, who seems like a toddler at best and is crying like one. In the next film, he's at least 7 or 8. I had assumed there was only a few months to maybe a year between the events of Begins and DK, due to the Joker tease at the end of Begins, and the fact that Wayne Manor was still being rebuilt. Now I'm not so sure...

I'm actually super glad I read that as I was on the fence about seeing the film. (although I probably would have gone anyway)
Reading it had some spoilers yes but it also set me straight that it won't be more of the same from TDK. I thought "TDK" was a great movie, just not a great Batman movie like "Begins" was.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

you know I have been a fan of Nolans since he did Momento 1999 and Insomnia 2002 but when Batman Begins 2005 came out it was good but I wasnt crazy over it as a Batman Film or Film , with The Dark Knight 2008 everything changed it was tighter and of course Heath Ledger performance took everything to another level. The use of IMAX 65mm is what really sold me on Nolan.Inception 2010 I dont know I saw it on IMAX but didnt do very much for meComment

Looks like Warner's jumped the gun last year when they said Nolan would produce the next crop of Batman films after DKR. Not true.
"No, none at all. We’re finished with all we’re doing with Batman. This is the end of our take on this character. Batman will outlive us all, and our interpretation was ours. Obviously, we consider it definitive and kind of finished. The great thing about Batman is he lives on for future generations to reinterpret, and obviously, Warners will have to decide in the future what they’re going to do with him. We’ve had our say on the character."
Oh, and here is a nice, spoiler-free featurette on DKR:

Possible Spoiler if true (You've been warned):
Did David Letterman spoil the ending of "The Dark Knight Rises"?

Wikipedia's plot entry is almost similar but with a slightly different take...
