The Incredible Hulk TV Series: The Best News of 2008!!!!

For anybody who is a fan of the Bill Bixby/Lou Ferrigno incarnation of the Incredible Hulk like I am, I have unofficial but incredible news that will get your green gamma irradiated blood flowing!!! This news is unofficial until Universal Studios makes a formal announcement.

I've just visited the website of the Hulk's executive producer
Kenneth Johnson. I clicked on the item called New Hulk DVDs and I quote what it said:

GOOD NEWS! THE SEASON THREE, FOUR AND FIVE BOXSETS WILL LIKELY BE RELEASED IN JUNE. CHECK BACK FOR THE EXACT DATE. IT WILL INCLUDE ON CAMERA INTERVIEWS WITH KENNY AND PRODUCERS BOB STEINHAUER,
KAREN HARRIS AND JILL SHERMAN DONNER.

ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 18, 2008, KENNY RECORDED A FULL LENGTH COMMENTARY ON THE EPIC PROMETHEUS WHICH OPENED THE FOURTH SEASON.

So that's it in a nutshell. We may be seeing the rest of the series come to DVD this summer. Probably to tie in with the new movie, which will be released theatrically that same month. All I can do now is save my money and keep my fingers crossed.
Just thought I'd pass on the great news. I am one excited and ecstatic Hulkaholic.
    Cheers.

      Awesome!!
That is too cool! I can't wait. Of course I still have to get Season Two, but... I was always a huge fan of the Hulk TV series. Okay, so it was more like The Fugitive than the comic book. I was okay with that.

I might actually try to see The Incredible Hulk movie this summer, too.

Maybe I'll break down and add Ang Lee's The Hulk to my Netflix list...

I bought that Best of set that was out a few years ago. That with the reairs and what i taped from the last tv marathon will suffice me for now.

        I love this show!

So their putting out all three boxsets... at the same time? I must be reading more into that than I should. Perhaps he means, starting in June they will release season 3 and from there release the rest throughout the year maybe? That seems like alot to put on collectors at once.

Not a huge fan of the series but it was OK...not sure I'd classify it as "Best News of 2008".

Do they really release three seasons of boxsets all at once these days?

Or are they going to stagger the releases?

I'm always a little nervous about going back and revisiting the old TV shows of my childhood.

I saw the pilot and it held up pretty well, although a little slow. The later TV movies weren't so hot just because Thor and Daredevil were kind of ridiculous.

                That is awesome news!!!
I picked up the boxed set of the fan fav's a couple years ago and then picked up season one when it was released but I'll be damned if I can find season two anywhere???
I sure hope to pick up the rest. The hulk TV series was my Favorite show as a kid.

TVShowson DVD.com has go the news.

I've seen Season two at a couple of different places - like Sam's Club, Best Buy - but never had a chance to pick it up yet.

I like the series for the same reason I like the '60's Batman - probably the cheese factor. But I have to admit it seemed like all the stories were recycled from every other TV on and very heavily from The Fugitive.

                  Ahhh, good times, good times...
