I'm ten minutes in, and I'm just struck by how it really is aimed at a very mature audience!
It begins with the narrators suicide, and then Hal Jorden shoots someone in the head.
I'm wondering if there will be any parental backlash on this given that this is NOT "The Batman", but features the Big Gun Icons like Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman. (Even Bugs Bunny makes an appearance!)
I'm wondering if it comes with any kind of parental warnings?
With that said, as an adult viewer, I'm certainly enjoying that it is close the the Darwyn Cooke graphic novel. The animation is fantastic thus far, and the style is certainly as expressive as Cooke's original designs.
Nice to see Barry Allen in animated form!
