How The Amazing Spider-Man and The Avengers share the same continuity

Disney and Sony agreed for OsCorp Tower from the The Amazing Spider-Man to be included in the film, but the idea was dropped because much of the skyline had already been completed.
Looks like Spidey appearing in The Avengers 2 is plausible. Both Avi Arad and Andrew Garfield are open to the idea, and it seems that Sony's cool with it.

Edit: Also, it's been reported that the Stark Industries building and Avengers Mansion will be shown in TASM, during a web-swinging sequence.

I guess this will be one of those threads that dies with no responses. But then again...I just bumped it. So there!

This thread seemed lonely so I thought I'd drop in and say hi. Hi.

Sorry O:M, I read the thread, and even told my wife and son about it. After seeing the new Spidey film, my son thinks Oscorp Tower may have been in the Avengers, he said it looked familiar. He's 10, but he's holding out for Spidey in Avengers 2.

So you read the cow, but didn't want to milk the comment, eh? .....I know there's a better (correct) phrase than that. Moving on, I guess that means I'll have to see The Avengers for a 3rd time (Am I complaining? Though the second time was awful, but I won't bore anybody (unless people want to hear me complain)) to re-check the city for it. And aren't we all?
