          But that Creature painting is stunning. Fantastic.

          I admire Mignola's work. I actually admire his ability to create a visual language for himself. He basically just repeats the same patterns over and over, but it works.

            I agree. I like Mikes min lines with shadow. His artwork looks much better in PENCIL, imo. Its a required taste though. He definately needs to stay away from superheroes.

            I like that creature painting. He uses shadows well in that piece himself.

              I really like Mignola's Batman stuff, but his style only lends itself to certain characters IMO.
              I'm trying to remember, but I think he did an X-Men book years ago that I thought was terrible, but then he did Gotham By Gaslight which was perfectly suited for him and it was awesome.

                but in all seriousness I like Mignola's work, but not here that sketch maybe for 35 to 50 bucks is okay but a Grand naaaaaaaw no way....for that money I'll get an Art Adams drawn Creech.....

                          I agree the piece is way over priced. I dont understand how they value such things. A Kirby or Swan PAGE, yes, but not something like that.
