It's one for the history books, gang. THE AVENGERS is now the highest grossing super-hero film of all time (not adjusting for inflation, of course, but if you did, THE AVENGERS is still only about 50 million behind TDK on the all time list)!

IMHO, due to the huge cascade of movies opening, I don't think that THE AVENGERS will make it past TITANIC at this point, but having two super-hero films in the top five is just too cool!!

That would be pretty sweet---and almost unprecedented for a film in it's---what---sixth week of release...? Avengers---ASSEMBLE!!!!

Snow White and the Huntsman easily took the number one spot this weekend...with Man in Black 3 taking second...and the Avengers third place.

That's just a natural course at the box office...all the record-breaking movies eventually go out of the box office list...it just happens.
