Very cool! I haven't been watching Young Justice in a long time. So did the season 1 Robin graduate to becoming Nightwing, or has Robin actually been Tim all along?

If they are introducing Bart, what happened to Wally? I've got some catching up to do.

Watching a few episodes of season two and really enjoying it. Love the quiet inclusion of Rocket and Icon. This is kind of shaping up to be a JLU type show with a growing cast of teen heroes coming in and out of the series. Totally understanding how both Nightwing, robin and batgirl are running around as well as Impulse and Kid Flash, and Aqua Lad and Lagoon Boy. They are really story driven reasons.

Problem is the highly serialized nature of the show really does discourage casual viewership like Brave and Bold. If you come into any random episode, there is a huge story arc going on that is hard to recap, particularly since there is a cast of dozens including the justice league characters.

While it may be a treasure trove for a fan man like me, it really should tilt towards the kids more who would buy the action figures and play with them.

Don't give them any bad ideas! Besides kids today are more used to story arcs.

I like this!! I'm a late comer to this series. All though it looks like this may all that is left of the real DC.

I can't like this show, I really don't know why. All the elements are there but something doesn't click for me.

I felt the same way last season but everything now is starting to line up with the YJ comics so it's getting cool

Season 1 wasn't really doing much for me, but you toss in the goofy characters like Lagoon boy, beast boy and impulse and I'm on board. I like how they are handling Blue Beetle as well.

It took me quite a while to warm to this show. I think because Brave and the Bold was so fun, and this was so hip and dour, I just couldn't get into it. But when it returned from the long break, I began to appreciate the different aspects of DC lore they were weaving into the series, and the interesting places they were taking these familiar ideas.

I watched the Impulse appearance today. Good episode. But I have a hard time believing any parent, even Cheshire, would bring her child to a Ninja fight.

So.... you’ve never read “Lone Wolf and Cub?”

                      >I can't like this show, I really don't know why. All the elements are there but something doesn't click for me.

It’s very well done, but it’s bland. No surprises, nothing too far removed from the basic ideas, same characters you’ve seen in so many other things.... even if they’re technically not. I’m not a big superhero fan, so I get no kick seeing the old characters (although I DID think it was funny that they reintroduced Sugar and Spike to the DC cannon) which kills a lot of the thrill other folks get. (What this show needs is Angel O’Day and Sam Simeon.)

The only episode that really bothered me was the one where Sisqo found out someone on the team was a spy, and everyone was mad he didn’t tell them.... ‘cos that’s what you’d do if you thought someone in your group was evil: tell them you know. But even THAT story is a standard one that I’ve seen many, many times.

Today's episode was full of surprises. They're really putting a lot of twists into this series. It's written way above most kids' heads, me thinks. May partially explain the failure of the toy line, especially vs. the similarly-themed Teen Titans toyline, which thrived for several years.

Between Brave and Bold, and Teen Titans, I think there is something to be said for the appeal of a kids show that has an element of humour to it.

There seemed to be a great deal of fun and play value in those Teen Titans Bandai toys... I remember how much my niece loved the superdeformed figures.

This week's episode had some very adult themes. I'm not talking anything inappropriate for children, but just things kids wouldn't be able to understand. I'm enjoying it, but I can't help but think CN used to fuss because Justice League skewed too old. This show has an even darker core, and doesn't pepper in light-hearted fun episodes in like JL did from time to time.
