Superhero Hype has posted an update and some screen shots...and they're AWESOME! We knew this was in the works for awhile, but it's nice to see it coming along. I'm slightly disapointed kevin Conroy isn't BATMAN...but Peter Weller has a nice deep voice for the older Batman.

I'm also VERY hasppy that they're doing it in two parts...because I think the story is too long for one DVD.

I read about this and meant to post something about it earlier, but got sidetracked!

Man, those stills are so damn sweet!!! This thing is gonna rock! Looks almost like Miller's stuff brought to animated life! I, too, wish they had stuck with Conroy as Bruce Wayne/Batman, but Peter Weller should go a good job, too. I wonder who will be voicing Gordon (hope it's Bryan Cranston again!), Robin, Selina Kyle, The Joker, Green Arrow and, of course, Superman....

I was the only one in my circle of friends who actually liked the book. This looks sweet. Since the liklihood of this ever being done live action is remote at best, this will work well. Conroy is the best, but I think Weller will do nicely.

Great news. I just hope it's long enough to encompass a lot of the story.

^^ Same feeling here, I actually bought Year One and was really dissapointed with it. It seemed rushed and the animation really didn't capture the feel of the original story. New Frontier and All Star Superman suffered from the same time restraint. I won't be wasting money on buying these anymore, just rentals from now on.

I don't have that feeling at all...because I trust Bruce Tim. He's proven himself time and time again.
