Man, I did love that man in his prime! I ED his Drax the Destroyer way more than the current version! I remember an arc of IRON MAN that had Drax in it and there was a throwdown between the two of them that was so sweet! I would LOVE to have that top piece, but it's out of my price range!sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.Comment

Unfortunately Starlin original art is out of my league...until I hit the lottery
I would love to own ANY page with Starlin art. Maybe one day. Trust me, I've been scouring the Comic Art section of Ebay to possibly find a hidden page or a mislabeled page. It does happen every once in a while. I can tell you that I intend on getting at least a sketch from him the next comic show that he will be attending that I am at.
He's definitely one of the artists that is a Modern Master as Twomorrows publication likes to call them. Brought a new perspective to art...it didn't have to be all superheroes all the time. Stuff like Dreadstarr/Metamorphosis Oddysey changed what you could do in comics. Fit right in with Marvel's Epic Line...which promoted independent thinking/storytelling/artistic style.Comment
