So, I found this article on "Ain't It Cool News" about a Batman Porno XXX Movie. While I find it offensive they're *******izing my favorite Hero...I found the Bat Suit design pretty good.

I saw this article earlier today and meant to post the photos myself, but The Bat beat me to it!

Regardless of whether or not this is a porn knockoff of Batman, what intrigues me is that, for the most part, THEY GOT THE FRIGGIN' (perhaps literally?) SUIT RIGHT!!! Don't get me wrong, I like Nolan and I like his Batman stuff, but to me, it's Batman taken waaaaaay too seriously with a uniform that is built up of waaay to many layers of----stuff for Wayne to actually move freely.

One of the posters over on AICN likened the design for the Batman uniform in the "adult film" as being similar to what's seen in the "ARKHAM" video games and I definitely see similarities, but I like it nonetheless and, porn or not, I'll likely wind up checking this out just to see how this suit looks on film (provided the actor keeps it on long enough to find out)! Just from this shot, I can already tell you that I love the head sculpt on the mask----the extended, very pointy ears---like a love child of Neal Adams and Kelley Jones! This is what I want to see on the big screen for the Batman reboot once Nolan is finished.

Oh, and The Bat forgot to add one of the best shots from the AICN piece...

Haw! True. I suspect it's because they're trying for a look that's instantly recognizable as the character, so they go to a sort of aggregate composite of what's already out there. The big budget movies have an interest in rebranding the character, to make it appeal to what's percieved as the current audience; so there's a tendency to redo things.... in essence doing the opposite of the porn guys by trying to put a NEW composite in the mind of the public. Thus invalidating any old branding and neccesating a repurchase with the new image.
