If they were protesting traditional Opera, they might have some legitimate claim around overall representation, but in terms of mainstream superhero films coming out of Hollywood, the biggest argument against them is six movies and countless tv shows starring this fella. They can make a dozen films starring baby eating, nun raping, mother joke making, Asian human traffiking, drugs from mexico peddling, african slave owning, nazi /norse giant adoptee super villains, and still maintain a balance of representation for folks who were adopted with the Bug Blue in your corner as poster child.

I am adopted, yet I still found it funny.

me too ,not offended at all ,but im just wondering how it would bother adopted kids these days ,i know from myself that there was a lot of stigma to being adopted back in the late 50s and through the 60s in England ,case point the only other adopted person i knew of was superman ,thats why im still as fond of the big guy now as i was then ,hes pretty much what got me through the abuse from "you dont have real parents "to "your parents didnt want you ,they gave you away "i would like to think in these so called enlightened times that such divisions are not there for any kids ,adopted or other wise ,anyway they will allways have Superman ,patron saint of adopted kids everywhere and if that doesnt work out for them theres allways Loki the killer of 80
