I was being sarcastic with my apology. I thought it fit the tone of the thread and I wanted to see what would happen. I guess I have a little of Loki in me and I'm not adopted or Asgardian.

If only I had thought to title my thread, "India Offended by Avengers" instead of "India Not Happy With Avengers" it might have been a much funnier thread. Maybe as funny as this one.
I can't say I'm really offended but I do feel a bit miffed at not thinking of it first.Comment

Being adopted, I've had people say similiar things about me either to my face or behind my back and its not real nice. Glad everyone hear finds it funny. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

Honey, it's not the adoption we find funny.
Personally, I think that adopting a child takes a lot of guts, love, and determination on the part of the parents in question. It's a beautiful thing; a person is willing to open their heart and home to a child who through whatever circumstance, has no other support system.
The thing we find funny is the fact that so many people are getting offended by an offhand comment by a big, blond Labrador of a Thunder God.
If anything, be offended by the scriptwriter who thought it was funny, and the producer who decided to leave it in the final script.
