Perhaps, but i still think $260 mill so far is pretty impressive for a foreign total.
The Avengers Reaches $260.5M Internationally and New TV Spot | Superhero Hype
That's more than Green Lantern made worldwide!
Same here. Just Fandango'd my tickets as well.
Now, I just gotta get up at 11:30 a.m. (I normally sleep in) and drive about 5 miles to get to the Orange 30 block.
I've been practicing staying up late, and my longest time was 29 hours, 24 minutes, 25 seconds. I think I'm ready for the 14 hour marathon.

Damn! I would be dying to wait until August!I stand corrected. it would seem the rumor may have some juice to it. $218 mill already and it doesn't open in Japan until August.

I think the scene your referring to is in the middle of the credits and there was a rumor of another scene at the end of the credits. I saw no such thing in the UK screening, so I think it might be BS.Leave a comment:

Here in Belgium, at the end of the credits, we saw the new bad guy.In the IMAX 3D print I saw in the UK, there was only the mid credits "coda", and nothing at the end of the credits.... (I stayed until the very end to make sure).
But rumour is that they've filmed an extra stinger to put at the end of the US general release print credits.
Hopefully you guys can confirm or deny that when you see it.Leave a comment:

I went ahead and Fandango'd our tickets. Better safe than sorry for an extra $2.50!
Friday can't get here fast enough.

I saw it earlier tonight in 3D - I can't see how any superhero geek could possibly be disappointed.Leave a comment:

Realistically, I can probably see it 7 times, 10 at the most (I don't waste money on theater goodies, it's too much IMO. Of course, the free refills Marvel's offering is tempting....). It might be the best superhero movie ever, but you can get burnt out on anything. On a funny side-note, Richard Roeper said "it has more laugh-out-loud moments that most comedies!" In the end, his grade was an 'A' praising the action sequences, Downey as Stark, and Mark and Banner/Hulk.Leave a comment:
