    Hmmmm....

I actually like the Avengers cartoon. Even though stuff like Young Justice is overall much better done, it seems kinda flat. Same with most superhero cartoons.

I absolutely loved it and can only hope whatever they are replacing it with is nearly as good.

I dig The Avengers, but isn't 65 episodes the norm for cartoons then production stops?

So are they going to finish all of season 2 or just shelve it?

I was happy that I was able to snag everyone of them onto a DVD to watch over and over. I think they were the best I have seen in a cartoon for a long time.
**** Ultimate Spiderman. Crap. The Avengers was great, I even saw a promotion for Season Two and it looked great. Black Panther got his collar updated, Thor went to his modern disco outfit and for some reason they gave Captain America photon shield. Maybe this is why Disney cancelled it.

That's the magic number for syndication for a regular show. Most cartoons get 13 episodes; one season of a weekly.

I think Disney is playing the Cartoon Network game and making just enough episodes for DVD release and syndication. It's a shame, too. Avengers EMH isn't as good as DC centric toons, but the best Marvel toon in years. They could have milked this for some time.
                Hey! Check out the pictures.

The reason I think the Avengers was better then the DC toons is because they brought stories to kids from old comic books that they would have normally never read or originally seen in someone's collection (unless they spent money on back issues).
Sure, most of them were rehashed from old Avenger's books but my daughter was in love with the series. I can get the entire first series on three DVDs (clearly and in HD).

TAKE A LOOK AT THIS. THIS IS WHAT THEY HAD FOR SEASON TWO!!

The remaining Season 2 episodes will still air, there just won't be a (rumored) Season 3, even though that's what the fans want, and as we all know fans don't give anything back, so screw them.

I've watched it several times thru on Netflix and its a good show, coming close to being a Marvel version of JLU. Definitely the best Marvel toon since the 60's. Seems like they'd want to perpetuate the show while the movie is out there.
