Glad to see Super-Grover on the cover! And it looks like Cookie Monster is getting his daily allowance of iron, too!!

sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

i can't shake the feeling that Elmo pushed Grover out of the spotlight. Makes me kinda sad.

Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

Grover and Super G are still very prominent in the SS world. If you want to mourn, shed a tear for Herry and Roosevelt Franklin.

Sesame in comic form sounds fun to me. We have spent quite a bit of time withe the SS Treasury and Library. It would be cool if some of the classic skits that were in those tomes made the translation to the comic page.

You're not the only one. After the "Original Five" (Ernie, Bert, Cookie, Oscar and Big Bird), Grover was next in importance and significance until Elmo bumped him out.

Roosevelt Franklin was shut out of the spotlight long before Elmo showed up.
He went the way of Sam the Robot, Sherlock Hemlock and Don Music.

I'm not saying Elmo pushed anyone out. I am merely noting that Grover is still very much a part of Sesame Street while all of the above mentioned characters are not.
