I'm shocked that Shazam and Plastic Man haven't seen big screen adaptations.

It's also time to reboot Swamp Thing.

^Yeah, Shazam and Plas are the two that stick out the most, along with WW, Flash and Aquaman for me.

For Marvel, I guess the next logical choice is Dr. Strange. I think he's the only 60s headliner that hasn't been adapted to the screen. Well, I guess Namor too.

If I had to pick five that haven't been mentioned, I'd go with
          • Mike Grell's Warlord
          • Elric of Melnibone
          • Robert E. Howard's Almuric
          • Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser
          • Kelly Green

I think it's no question Shazam and Aquaman are the most overlooked. I don't know why, because I think they'd both appeal to kids at the very least.

EDIT: In retrospect, I think Kelly Green would work better as a HBO or Showtime series.

Let's see, Grendel & Nexus would be the top 2 on my list. Dr. Strange could be good as well.
            My Updated Want List:
            Comic book original art
1970s Hulk or Spider-man metal garbage can
            Custom Mego Nexus, Grendel

Have lots of comics and Marvel Legends figures for trades. Thanks!

I can't imagine in this day and age how a Black Panther movie hasn't been green lit.

              Iconic Marvel character - check
Built in urban audience - check
              multicultural benefits - check
hip hop music crossover potential - check

Let's see, you've got a young, ripped black dude maybe 28-32, who's a badass fighter with cat like powers and strength and he's the KING of the most technologically advanced country on Earth. Shoot half the movie in Wakanda, half in NYC. Give him a cool villain like Klaw or maybe even Kraven the Hunter. For continuity, throw in Duncan's Kingpin. Have Tyler Perry in it somewhere. Seems just putting his name on a film is good for 75 million or so. How does this film not succeed?

Oh yeah, a Shazam movie is necessary. Not negotiable.

I'm trying to remember, but wasn't both Paul Reubans (Pee Wee Herman) and Jim Carey attached to Plastic Man movies at some point?

The Mask kind of gives a ballpark of how a Carey Plastic Man would have been.

^Yes, they were both mentioned as Plas. I think Reubens was actually attached to it at one point, not sure about Carey.

I would go with "The Flash" as my first pick. With so many super hero movies in the pipeline; I just hope some of the current ones are really good and continue to convince Hollywood that it these are worthwhile movies to continue producing.
