So its out...and gotta say was slightly dissapointed....far too early to say yet I know but I at least would have thought the Hulk would have been in it a bit more than he was.....Oh well awaiting no. 2

I only flipped through the book, but the implication is that it is Rick Jones as the Hulk once again isn't it?
I thought that thread of history should have been conveniently forgotten rather than ever being followed up on.
Haven't read the end of Planet Hulk yet to see how it all shook up.
Given the ending of this issue, I'm thinking Devil Hulk does not equal Red Hulk, which is too bad.Comment

Don't forget his time as ROM's buddy.
I always thought he was best handled within Peter David's run of The Hulk as a supporting cast member. The premise of the Genis Captain Marvel series had promise, but David's obvious fondness for the character of Jones overpowered the titular character too much.
Who's idea was it to bond Rick and the Captain Mar-Vell? Roy Thomas? It might have seemed clever at the time given the fact that the original Big Red Cheese was still in limbo, but I don't think updating that concept with a Marvel spin quite worked as well as it sounded on paper.Comment
