I have the first Captain America lunchbox in this picture. I found it at a comic book store:

^I still have my Super Friends Lunch Box. The Batgirl side is rusted, but I still love it. I've said this before, but it never occurred to me until adulthood...that's a girl's lunch box!!! Think about it: the pink/purple border;Wonder Woman and Batgirl front and center on front and back; Supergirl and Catwoman on both sides. Thank goodness no one noticed it in elementary school!!! I also still have my Super Powers lunch box, and a MOTU one from youth too. I've picked up a few nice vintage ones over the years, including Superman: The Movie and a Captain America, Spider-Man/Hulk model.

I had the plastic version of the Marvel one in the first picture, purchased in Canada (I remember the illustration being very similar, at least).
Would like to find some pics of that one.

The '54 Supes and '66 Batman boxes are two of my favorite ever made. I still have my collection but haven't purchased a lunchbox for years. I do know the Marvel Super Heroes box is common and it at least used to be fairly easy to pick up a dead mint box with orginal stickers, tags, etc. for around $20. It is by far the nicest lunchbox one can buy in mint condition for a reasonable price.

I really love the Cap/Spidey and Hulk one. I got that last summer, and I just really dig the graphics, esp. on the Cap side. You can't go wrong when you mix Steranko and Kirby art!!!
