Yep, I liked the Corman FF, Dr. Strange and the Doc Savage (Ron Ely) movies! Even the 70's Cap Reb Brown movies are a guilty pleasure of mine however The Man-Thing movie was a couple of hours out of my life that I'll regret forever. How about the Thor SyFy movie where he fought the werewolves? Bad, bad, bad and just plain sad!Leave a comment:

IMDb - Dr. Strange (TV 1978)
Peter Hooten was Dr. Stephen Strange.
The movie was pretty slow moving, but not anywhere near as bad as:
Return Of The Incredible Hulk (Thor was just horrible!)
Manthing (nothing good about that one!)Leave a comment:

We must be talking about "Frank Miller's Spirit" and not the Sam Jones version....?Leave a comment:

Agreed. Spirit was so bad I forced myself to forget that I had seen it.
I agree that movies like "Spawn" and "Steel" are crappy movies with crappy sources, but what if we were going to rank movies the other way around? 'best source material to worst adaptation' ratio? Personally, I think "The Spirit", "The Fantastic Four" and "League of Extraordinary Gentleman" would be strong contenders on that list.Leave a comment:

I did some googles - and found some more made-for-tv madness I never heard of before.
• Apparently there was a 1991 Power Pack movie?
• "Archie: Return to Riverdale"?!!
• "Justice League of America" unaired in the USLeave a comment:

I missed a lot of the made-for-TV movies you guys are listing.
I'm not making an argument that this should top the list or anything, but the 1984 movie "Sheena: Queen of the Jungle" is really quite something:

I totally agree. At least the Corman one had B-movie charm. I think there are times where a bigger production budget can make a movie more boring.Leave a comment:

of the Dr Strange movie -if you watch it today it is dated but it was actually a pretty well made movie and adapted the comic well
and the Hof Fury was also extremely well done for its budget and date.
Crosby WW I am oddly fascinated with and it was during a time that the comics had Diana as a spy rather than a costumed hero
the Gen X show I really wanted to be good - I wanted the comics to be good too. Both let me down. But were definitely not teh worst offerings out there.Leave a comment:

I understand your angle Brian - and Vampirella was up there mainly for how bad Daltry was in it.
and I couldn't get through ManThing
the Captain America serial is hands down teh worst I have seen
The fourth Crow movie may top the list.
the newish lone ranger tv movie.
the first captain america tv movie
Even big budgets and hot leads couldn't make these bearable - Supergirl, Catwoman and Elektra
the worst big budget comic movie -ConstantineLeave a comment:

I'll give you "Trial" that was bad. reappearing beard was the best. Though I liked having DD and King PIn brought to life regardless of how bad at the time. The Incredible Hulk Returns The Trial of the Incredible Hulk DVD, 2011 014381748727 | eBay
I didn't have any problems with Ninja Rex Smith, since it did stay pretty true to the character and cast John Rhys Davies as Kingpin. Overall not that greatly executed, but Thor I kind of had issues with now that we see what the character COULD have been last summer.

little known fact: this was the first came role for Stan the Man.
BUT "Returns"? was AWESOME! No, it did not in any way shape or form follow teh comic but it was so fun. We used to put in the VHS in college while playing cards. Thor: "So you are looking for a man. It appears you have found one."Leave a comment:
