    I've been robbed!!

I am so beyond f***ing mad right now I am shaking . My Spidey vs. Electro painting was stolen off the front seat of my car this morning while parked at a convenience store. I was gone less than five minutes and someone just opened the door and took it.
I work in a really nice small community with virtually no crime, so I don't usually have my doors locked. Unfortunately there were no outside security cameras to catch the thieving piece of crap.
I'll be notifying all the local comic shops and antique stores in case the thief tries to sell it, and of course checking Ebay. If any of you guys spot it on the internet for sale, please give me a heads up.

Thing is, it's not even totally done yet , so the idiots stole an unfinished painting.

Wow, that is just nuts. I tend not to lock my car here in my hometown too.

I hope you get it back. And I hope you did a final scan of it before hand.

        Keep us posted!

Thing is, who would even want a Spider-Man painting? I'm not a famous artist so it's not like it's gonna be worth anything to anyone but me.

It was either somebody really desperate to make a buck, or a thieving fanboy.
If it was a comics fan, there aren't that many in this town....I bet I know the person, or have seen them at one of the local shops.

Wow...my heart goes out to you big time. Chances are that the thief probably thought this was not your own handmade work which actually shows how nice the item was turning out. You might want to reach out to any local pawn shops, comic shops, etc. with pictures before the police get around to it. There is a high likelihood whoever stole it is going to try to flip it fast.

I am so sorry to hear about this. That painting was really looking good too. No doubt the thief thinks it is a pawnable or sellable item and it will turn up sooner than later I am sure. With all of the members here trolling Ebay like we do, someone will see it soon.
