    RIP Moebius

One of my favourite artists. A truly versatile and diverse talent with a unique vision of the world as it was,is,could be.

Ugggh so sad another of my art Idols passes away......I was exposed to him through Heavy Metal as a teen and he became an instant favorite....
He and the rest of the artist that were showcased in HM showed me that there was more to fantasy art than Superman and Spiderman......

Sad. What a talented guy. Wasn't he involved with ALIEN?

Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

The word visionary gets thrown around a lot, but I think it applies here. A completely unique interpretation of just about everything.

Sad news, he had an incredible imagination. I remember being fascinated by his work when I first started reading Heavy Metal magazine as a teen. RIP Mr. Giraud.

Unbelievably talented and imaginative. It's impossible to try to gauge how much he influenced.

This year has SUCKED for some of the talent we have already lost. Just so sad.

                        ^^ totally agree.
Guys like Moebius are irreplaceable and we have been losing to many of them lately.
A Heavy Metal powerhouse. Great movie visionary. Interesting style as well as gifted storyteller.

I was thinking the same thing. First John Severin, then Ralph McQuarrie, and now Moebius. It's been a bad year for my artistic influences....

What are your favourite Moebius books?

I'm a huge fan of Blueberry. It's funny how there was both Moebius and Jean Giraud doing extraordinarily different work in France back in the day. Whereas Epic branded all the work by Moebius.
