Batman Beyond Ultimate

Tried to get ahold of the first issue. I went to three comic shops and a Barnes and Noble and couldn't get no love. Apparently, it sold out superfast compared to previous BATMAN BEYOND comics. I wonder if it has anything to do with being out of continuity so pretty much immune to the New DC revamp-nonsense.

I can never find comics when I go looking for them. I guess I'll have to order it in.

Anybody checking this series out?

Nope, Beyond was the one Timm show I couldn't get into. Was Static Shock Timm, too? If so there were two I never got into.

I've always liked Batman Beyond. May be worth a look.

I never got into Static Shock, either. I think they folded it into the Timm-Verse, but I don't think he actually did the show.

I think Alan Burnett (and of course Dwayne McDuffie) worked on the Static Shock series. And the Timmverse versions of Batman, Robin, Superman, Green Lantern, Batman Beyond and Justice League crossed over with the show at one point.

Is Justice league beyond just a digital comic? I'm confused.

Batman Beyond Unlimited is digital content first. Then they compiled it in to a comic. It's a great read. There have been a few series in recent years. A mini-series, then an ongoing series that got canned for the 52 relaunch. Now they're back with this as the regular series.

I'm a huge Batman Beyond fan. If you can find the book, pick it up. It doesn't have anything to do with the rest of the New 52. In a previous issue they made mention of Batman Inc but they also mentioned it was short lived which made me snicker. Anyway, good series, good story. I love Dustin Nguyen's art. He's very talented. I follow him on Deviantart.

I LOVED Batman Beyond, I was just looking at the complete series on dvd on Amazon.com, but it is like $70, but you can buy each individual season and the movie for...like $40. Oh, amazon.
