I was there last night. apparently their time on Queen st is up as of June. No word on a new location yet, and the rumoured new location in the Annex (where Sonic Boom used to be) now has a Dollarama coming soon sign now.

The era of comic shops on Queen st is officially coming to an end.

I just took the kids to the snail last weekend, I never buy much but my memories of first going there like in 1981 keep me coming back. What a different (and smellier) neighbourhood it once was.

Not to worry, Sonic Boom moved into Honest Ed's storefront on Bathurst and it's still a huge space filled with wonderful old-media.
