This is why I think this movie will do gangbusters at the box office. Disney has been putting a major push behind this and I think it will get a ton of folks to check it out. If its even half-decent, the second and third weekends will maintain a decent percentage.WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better. -

The more I think about it, the more I'm starting to think Avengers may win the super hero sweepstakes. I think the somber nature of DKR will limit it's appeal compared to this super hero rally popcorn flick. Both are payoffs from several films, but Avengers has been building across several different film franchises.
I still think DKR will do gangbusters, and will be excellent. But Avengers may have the edge, because it looks like kickarse fun.
