Definitely two characters you would never expect to see cross paths. Hmmmm---perhaps that is something DC could think about: DC characters meeting Universal Monsters. Hmmmmmm.....
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Great piece, but I love both characters.

I love that piece. What a B-Movie that would have made. Cockrum would have done a nice job drawing the World's Mightiest Marvel.

I'd buy a comic with Captain Marvel vs. the Creature. Lot better idea than Punisher vs. Archie.
Always enjoyed the Superman-Bizzaro fight when they bust into a make-up room where Frankenstein was being done up.

I also like the Superman vs. Frankenstein and Dracula story in Superman Vol. 1 No. 344 in the late 70s or early 80s with it's great Garcia Lopez cover and Geoff Loeb's update of it in Superman Vol. 2 No. 180.

The Batman vs. the werewolf story in Batman No. 255 with Neal Adams art has always been one of my favorite Batman stories. Bruce Timm's bunch did a nice adaption of it on the BM: The Animated Series. But, didn't really like the Batman vampire stories by Gene Colan in 80s and the Crimson Mist stuff by Kelly Jones in the 90s.

I remember I got an animator from the (then upcoming) Batman TAS to do me a sketch of Captain Marvel teaming up with the Spirit.

This piece reminds me of that one, so it kind of amuses me.

That's great. I love the look of surprise in Cap's face.
              It's all good!
